Some beginner and teen leagues give players the choice of participating in a league quote bee. Teen players who participate in Nationals may choose to be in the Nationals quote bee. Each block of text has a list primary memory verses- 10 for beginner and 15 for teen. Teen also has a varying amount of secondary memory verses per block. Players who choose to participate in a quote bee start with rounds of primary memory verses, then move on to secondary memory verses, and finally move to rounds of any verse in the text. Players must quote verses verbatim; the player who goes the most rounds without missing a verse wins the quote bee!
Teen players who participate in the quote bee at Nationals are eligible for scholarships from participating universities.
